This product is a conventional 32-watt U-6 Shaped or U-6 Bent T8 Fluorescent Tube, not an LED lamp. The tube features a width of 6 inches between the ends of the U and is equipped with two male Inch G13 Medium Bi Pin sockets.

Typically, it is used in 2×2 recessed fluorescent fixtures, with two tubes commonly required per fixture. While it delivers reliable performance, it’s important to note that this tube contains mercury, necessitating proper handling and disposal when it burns out.

Additionally, it is no longer regarded as an energy-efficient option. The light produced has a colour temperature of 4100 Kelvin, also referred to as “Cool White.” This tube requires a ballast to operate, which can also fail, and it emits between 2300 and 2900 lumens throughout its lifespan, with a minimum rated life of 20,000 hours.
