Description
This is not an LED lamp, but a 4-foot-long T8 fluorescent tube, suitable for those who prefer traditional lighting options. While it delivers reliable performance, please note that this tube contains mercury. Proper handling and disposal are required when the tube burns out. Additionally, it is no longer considered an energy-efficient choice.
This 1-inch diameter tube operates with a ballast and consumes 25 – 35 watts of electricity depending on the ballast and lamp combination (see attributes). It features two G13 Medium Bi-pin male sockets on either end, ensuring compatibility with standard fixtures. With a color temperature of 6500 Kelvin (Daylight), it provides between 2400 and 3100 lumens over its lifespan and has a minimum rated life of 20,000 hours.
For a more environmentally friendly option with no mercury and enhanced energy efficiency, we recommend upgrading to one of our LED alternatives.
