This is not an LED lamp; it is a conventional NEMA Standard 18 Watt 28 Inch T8 Fluorescent Tube with two male G13 Medium Bi-pin sockets on either end. This lamp is most commonly used in appliances and under-cabinet lighting. While it delivers reliable performance, please note that this tube contains mercury, so proper handling and disposal are essential when the tube burns out. Additionally, it is no longer considered an energy-efficient choice. The emitted colour is Cool White, an industry term that refers to a colour temperature of 4000–4100 Kelvin. This tube requires a ballast to operate, which may also fail over time. It provides between 1150 and 1400 lumens over its lifespan and has a minimum rated life of 7500 hours.
