Description
This T5 LED replacement lamp upgrades the lighting by replacing a 3500 Kelvin, 34-inch (nominally called 36 inch or 3 foot sometimes) long T5 HE fluorescent tube. The lamp is designed as a Ballast Bypass or Type B LED, with installation requiring minor electrical work—bypassing the ballast and running line voltage directly to the sockets. This process eliminates the ballast, reducing future maintenance and saving time and hassle.
Energy consumption is reduced by over 50%, and the LED lamp lasts twice as long as the fluorescent tube it replaces, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
