It is fully capable of powering halogen lamps or serving as a driver for LED replacements for those halogens. The new version has a maximum secondary wattage of 75W. If your existing unit is housed in a very tight enclosure, we recommend contacting us to confirm the fit. However, if there is enough space around the transformer, installation should be straightforward, allowing you to wire it in easily and get your lamps up and running.
