Description
This is not an LED lamp. Instead, this product is a traditional 40-watt T12 U-Bend (U-6 Shaped) Fluorescent Tube, featuring a 6-inch width between the U-shaped ends and two male G13 Medium Bi-Pin sockets.
Often used in 2×2 recessed troffers or surface-mounted fluorescent fixtures, it typically requires one or two tubes per fixture. While it offers reliable lighting, this tube contains mercury and should be handled and disposed of with caution.
With a warm white light in the 2700 to 3000 Kelvin range, it produces 2000 to 2500 lumens and has a average lifespan of 10,000 hours. It requires a ballast to function, which may also need replacement over time.
